The Meteorology Department reports that the lowest temperature in Sri Lanka on November 10, 2025, was recorded at 11.5°C at the Nuwara Eliya Meteorological Station.

According to the Department, showers or thundershowers are likely to occur in many parts of the island after around 1.00 p.m. today.

Heavy rainfall exceeding 75 mm can be expected in some areas of the Uva, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, and Central Provinces, as well as in the Ampara and Batticaloa Districts, the Department stated.

The public is kindly requested to take necessary precautions to minimize risks from temporary strong winds and lightning associated with thundershowers.
