The Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group, one of the Middle East’s leading healthcare providers, has expressed keen interest in exploring investment opportunities in Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector, following discussions with Foreign Affairs, Tourism and Foreign Employment Minister Vijitha Herath.

During the visit, Minister Herath and the Sri Lankan delegation toured the group’s modern medical complex, renowned for its AI-integrated systems and advanced medical technology, which set new benchmarks for healthcare innovation in the region.

The group’s management acknowledged the important contributions of Sri Lankan professionals working at its Colombo-based development centre, whose expertise supports the group’s technological advancements.

Talks between the two parties focused on expanding collaboration in healthcare, digital health innovation, and medical tourism, with the aim of positioning Sri Lanka as an emerging destination for world-class medical services.
