A fishing boat carrying six Sri Lankans and 300 kilograms of heroin and ICE narcotics was intercepted and taken into custody by the Maldivian Coastguard.
The operation was carried out following intelligence provided by the Sri Lanka Navy. Authorities are investigating the case further.
