Officers of the Western Province North Criminal Investigation Division reportedly found the vehicles during a search carried out at Manamperi’s residence in the Middeniya area.
Manamperi was arrested recently in connection with the discovery of two containers containing chemicals suspected to be used in the manufacture of the drug Ice, in the Thalawa area in Middeniya. He was initially remanded following his arrest.
Subsequently, court permission was granted to the Colombo North Criminal Investigation Division to detain him for 90 days for further questioning. Investigations are ongoing.
