The Ministry of Vocational Education has introduced an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot to enhance access to vocational training information.
The AI Chatbot, developed by the Ministry’s technical officers, is available alongside the new ‘1966’ Vocational Education Hotline. It allows students to obtain answers to their questions on vocational education in Sinhala, Tamil, and English.
Officials said the chatbot uses modern technology to deliver quick and reliable responses, helping students and job seekers find suitable training programs and career guidance efficiently.
