The first phase of the “Youth Link” Sri Lanka Youth Exchange Program commenced today (November 7) in Jaffna and will continue until November 12.

This national youth exchange initiative is conducted under the theme “Connect 2025 YOUTH Clubs”, organized in collaboration with a registered youth organization affiliated with the National Youth Services Council (NYSC).

The six-day program brings together youth groups from across the country, with each team comprising 25 young participants and 2 officials. Participants are required to be between 18 and 29 years of age, maintaining a gender ratio of 10 female and 15 male representatives.

Additionally, 10 participants from the host district’s youth society and 15 others representing various Divisional Secretariat divisions across the district are taking part in the program.

The initiative aims to foster cultural exchange, leadership development, and mutual understanding among Sri Lankan youth from different regions.
