The first phase of the third school term in all government schools across Sri Lanka will conclude tomorrow (08), marking the start of the end-of-year school holidays.
According to the Ministry of Education, the holiday period will run from November 8 to December 7, providing students and teachers with a much-needed break before the final phase of the term begins.
Meanwhile, the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to take place from November 10 to December 5, a crucial period for thousands of students preparing for university and higher education opportunities.
Following the completion of the examination period, the second phase of the third term is set to be conducted from Monday, December 8 to Friday, December 19, after which schools will close for the year-end vacation.
