A Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Bell 212 helicopter from Base Ratmalana conducted an aerial reconnaissance mission over the Waskaduwa area as part of the national Tsunami Mock Drill.

During the exercise, the helicopter successfully airlifted two simulated casualties from Thissa Central College and transported them to SLAF Station Katukurunda, demonstrating the Air Force’s preparedness for rapid response in disaster situations.
