According to police, the suspects are residents of Panadura, Boralesgamuwa, Galle, Passara, and Badulla, aged between 18 and 40. Among those arrested was an individual suspected of supplying drugs to the participants.
Police further stated that the suspects were under the influence of narcotics at the time of the arrest, and a small quantity of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine (ice) was found in their possession.
The suspects have been produced before the Panadura Magistrate’s Court, while further investigations are being conducted by the Panadura North Police.
