The move aims to address mobility challenges faced by the STF, as nearly 90% of its existing fleet of 314 motorcycles are over a decade old and frequently experience mechanical issues, hindering the Force’s operational efficiency.
Operating through 76 main camps, 23 sub-camps, and 14 special units islandwide, the STF plays a key role in anti-drug operations and combating organized crime. The new vehicles are expected to significantly boost its effectiveness in carrying out rapid-response missions and special raids.
