Minister Ananda Wijepala is set to present the proposal to the Cabinet soon. The decision follows a delay in the tender process for uniform and shoe procurement last year.
Accordingly, 82,000 police officers will receive the necessary funds, including Rs. 7,000 for a pair of shoes.
