The arrests were made last night (Nov 1) at a venue known as “Kamatha” in Kimbulawala, where a large crowd exceeding 500 people had gathered to attend the musical event.
According to police, various types of narcotic substances were found in the possession of the arrested individuals. The operation was carried out jointly by the Mirihana Police and the Mirihana Division Criminal Investigation Unit.
The suspects are scheduled to be produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate today (Nov 2).
