Jathika Jana Balawegaya MP Nilanthi Kottahachchi, who recently drew attention with a social media photo, stated she will never bow to political leaders she says have dragged the country into a political crisis.
Speaking to reporters, Kottahachchi emphasized her respect lies with the people who entrusted her with their mandate.
“I am humble to bow my head before the innocent people who trusted us and are striving to develop this country,” she said, denying any secret political dealings and clarifying she is not the person depicted in the circulated photo.
