New additional commissioner appointed to the Motor Traffic Department

K.P.N. Tharaka Niroshan Devapriya has been appointed as the new Additional Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic.

Accordingly, he officially assumed duties in his new position today (30).

This is a newly established post within the Department of Motor Traffic, and Tharaka Niroshan Devapriya becomes the first-ever officer to hold the title of Additional Commissioner General in the department’s history.

Mr.Devapriya, a Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS), is also a member of the 2003 SLAS batch.
