GovPay, Sri Lanka’s secure online platform for government payments, has recorded transactions worth Rs. 568.6 million through 37,715 sessions, with 184 government institutions onboard.

Developed by LankaPay under the supervision of ICTA and the Central Bank, the platform allows citizens and businesses to pay taxes, fines, utility bills, education fees, and other service charges via banks and digital wallets.

Launched in February 2025 under the patronage of President and Minister of Digital Economy Anura Kumara Dissanayake, GovPay aims to modernize revenue collection and strengthen transparency, accuracy, and security in government transactions.
