The Cinnamon Gardens Police have reported the discovery of a bag containing 10 gas cartridges on the roof of the Common Coffee House building located on Mal Road, Colombo 7.
According to police, the cartridges were found inside a Cama-type bag. It is suspected that the items may have been left behind during the public protest (Aragalaya) that took place near the Prime Minister’s Office in 2022, when protesters reportedly threw similar cartridges.
The Cinnamon Gardens Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
