Two of the bodies were found within the Mattakkuliya Police Division — one along the Kaaka Island beach and the other near the mouth of the Kelani River. Both victims remain unidentified and have been transferred to the Colombo National Hospital morgue for post-mortem examinations.
Meanwhile, in the Pamunugama Police Division, another unidentified male body was discovered behind a two-storey house under construction in the Epamulla area. Police said the deceased, believed to be between 50 and 60 years old, was wearing black trousers and a light-blue short-sleeved shirt.
The body has been placed at the Ragama Hospital morgue as further investigations continue.
