They said two others who drank from the same bottle are currently receiving treatment at Puttalam Hospital.
The incident occurred at a fishing hut in the Norochcholai area, where the group of four reportedly shared the bottle’s contents.
Following the death of one person at the hospital, police launched an investigation and later discovered another body at the fishing hut.
