The Cabinet has approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Health and Media to appoint Ms. E.M.G.N. Deepti Sumanasekara, a Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, as the new Ayurvedic Commissioner General.
Ms. Sumanasekara currently serves as the Commissioner of Labour at the Department of Labour. She will assume her new duties with immediate effect, filling the vacancy that has existed in the post.
