The support comes through the brand’s long-running “Watch Hunger Stop” campaign and will benefit WFP’s Home-Grown School Feeding (HGSF) initiative.
The funding will allow WFP to expand its HGSF programme from eight to ten districts, ensuring that 250,000 children receive daily nutritious meals over the next three years. In addition, the initiative will support 1,500 local farmers and caterers, enabling them to supply fresh, locally sourced produce to schools.
