Three SL ministers meet Sri Lankans living in the UK

Health and Media Minister Nalinda Jayathissa, Minister for Women and Child Affairs, Saroja Savithri Polraj, Minister of Justice Harshana Nanayakkara and Minister of Justice participated in the visit as per an invitation from the Westminster Foundation where democracy was present.

A large group of Sri Lankans participated in the event organized by the United Kingdom National Democracy Branch.

The ministers who came here were openly questioned about the issues of the people including the government's travelways, economic policies, national issue.

Answering those questions, ministers explained how the government has intervened in political changes, economic concessions given to the people and special issues of the North East prisoners.

Also explained how a core foundation of implementing a beautiful life in every sector was explained through long term development schemes.

No ministers of any government who were in power before have come to the UK openly meeting and interacted with the public.

The people who appreciated the government's scheme announced that they will support this government as foreign Sri Lankans without colour-partisan.

Ministers will also meet Sri Lankan scholars, professionals and businessmen who are there in the few days when they stay in the UK.
