The report said the amendments were needed to address issues in practical implementation.
The Accounting Officer said that, apart from the committee appointed by the Presidential Secretariat, another committee of sports and legal experts had prepared draft amendments, which were submitted to the Minister and the Secretary to the President for further instructions.
The audit recommended immediate action to update the Sports Act.
