Police have arrested a man believed to be the gunman involved in the murder of Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Lasantha Wickramasekara.
The suspect was taken into custody a short while ago in Nawinna, Maharagama, police confirmed. Investigations are ongoing.
