Kalutara District Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Jagath Withana has been provided with security by the Ministerial Security Division (MSD), following orders from the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
Currently, two officers have been assigned for his protection, with sources reporting that a decision on increasing security further will be made after a thorough assessment of the situation.
The security detail has been in place since yesterday (25), marking the MP’s first assignment of ministerial-level security under the present government.
