The Department of Examinations has reminded students and school authorities that the deadline to make corrections to names, subject selections and medium for the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level and General Information Technology (GIT) examinations will close at midnight on October 31. Officials confirmed that the grace period will not be extended under any circumstances.

The 2025 A/L Examination will be held from November 10 to December 5 at 2,362 examination centres, while the GIT Examination is scheduled for December 6 at 1,665 centres across the country.

The Department said admission cards and school attendance documents for school candidates have already been dispatched to Zonal Education Offices. Principals are required to collect them from the relevant Deputy or Assistant Director of Education. Meanwhile, private applicants will receive their admission cards by post.

Government school principals can log in to onlineexams.gov.lk/eic/ using their school code and password to make corrections. Private school users handling GIT entries should visit onlineexams.gov.lk/eic/index.php/clogin/psch.

The Examinations Department urged candidates to complete all necessary online amendments before the deadline to avoid inconveniences during the examination period.
