Comet C/2025 A6, popularly known as Lemon, is currently visible in the evening skies, space scientist Gihan Weerasekara said.
He said the comet can be observed near the horizon for about 30 to 45 minutes from around 6.30 p.m., shortly after sunset. The best viewing is from Sri Lanka’s western coast, provided the weather remains clear and there is no rain.
The comet was named Lemon after the Lemon Observatory in the United States, where it was originally discovered.
