Secretary to the Ministry, Nalaka Kaluwewa, said the document falsely presented as an official draft was not issued by the Ministry or any of its affiliated institutions.
He added that investigations are underway to identify the individuals behind the creation and distribution of the fake document, and that appropriate legal measures will follow once inquiries are complete.
