Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2025, Lihasha Lindsay-White, has been reunited with her crown and dress after accidentally leaving them in a Bangkok taxi on Sunday, October 19.

Lindsay-White realized she had misplaced the items — including her dark green gown and crown — near Siam Center Point in Pathumwan District and immediately reported the incident to Thailand’s 1155 Tourist Service Center.

With assistance from the Thai Tourist Police and an interpreter at the Pathumwan Police Station, authorities reviewed CCTV footage to trace the taxi and its driver. As the taxi cooperative office was closed over the weekend, officials contacted the driver the following day.

The driver later returned the crown and dress to the Bangkok South Tourist Police Station on October 20.

Expressing gratitude, Lindsay-White praised Thailand’s hospitality, saying, “Thailand is a safe country with police officers who truly care for tourists.”

The 27-year-old beauty queen is currently in Thailand representing Sri Lanka at the ongoing Miss Universe 2025 competition.
