According to the department, ten train services between Kandy and Colombo Fort were also cancelled this morning due to ongoing disruptions along the main line.
Train operations between Kandy and Colombo have been affected for several days following a train derailment and multiple earth slips reported at several locations along the route.
The Railway Department further stated that train services between Colombo Fort and Badulla will continue to operate only between Peradeniya and Badulla until further notice.
