According to the NWSDB, the water cut will be in effect from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. due to a power interruption at the main pumping station supplying water to the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.
As a result, the water supply will be suspended in the following areas: Battaramulla, Pelawatte, Hokandara, Koswatta, Thalawathugoda, Kotte, Rajagiriya, Madivela, Nugegoda, Nawala, Kolonnawa, IDH, Kotikawatta, Angoda, Wellampitiya, Orugodawatta, Maharagama, and Boralesgamuwa.
The Water Board further expressed its regret for the inconvenience caused to consumers due to this temporary disruption.
