Responding to recent claims, the Minister said there has been no decision to alter the service’s hotline number, name, or the color of its ambulances.
He highlighted that the 1990 Suwaseriya service will continue to operate under its current identity and branding.
The statement comes amid allegations by Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Dr. Harsha de Silva, who recently claimed that the government was preparing to change the name and color scheme of the Suwaseriya Ambulance Service.
