Parliament to convene today (22) at 9.30 a.m.

Parliament is scheduled to convene today (22) at 9.30 a.m., according to the Parliamentary Communications Department.

From 9.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., time has been allocated for parliamentary business mentioned under Standing Order 22 (1–6).

From 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., oral questions are scheduled to be taken up, followed by questions under Standing Order 27(2) from 11.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

From 11.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Parliament will debate the regulations published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 2451/10 under the Special Commodity Levy Act and the regulations made under the Excise (Special Provisions) Act (Authority No. 52).

Subsequently, from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., time has been reserved for a debate on a motion moved by the government to adjourn the House.
