The Court of Appeal has extended the interim injunction preventing the arrest of former Army Intelligence Officer Colonel K.S. Maddumage without consulting the Attorney General until November 11, in connection with investigations into the Easter Sunday terror attacks.
The order follows a writ petition filed by Colonel Maddumage, which was reconsidered by the court today (21).
The court also directed all parties to submit any written submissions regarding the matter before the November 11 deadline.
