A gazette raising the casino levy from 10% to 18%, effective October 1, 2025, was tabled in Parliament today by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.
Under the new regulations, entrance fees for Sri Lankan citizens will double from USD 50 to USD 100, while fees for foreign visitors remain unchanged.
