The National Lottery Board (NLB) has reported a number of fraudulent activities being carried out using its official logo and award ceremony visuals.

According to the NLB, these scams include fake casino operations and fraudulent Facebook accounts falsely claiming affiliation with the organization. The Board has urged the public to remain vigilant and to refrain from engaging with any such deceptive ventures.

The NLB further emphasized that all official lottery draws are conducted every day at 9:30 p.m. and are broadcast live on Swarnavahini. Replays are available via the NLB’s official Facebook pages and Swarnavahini’s official YouTube channel.

Official results are also announced through Lak Handa Radio and Wasantham FM, while print results are published in Dinamina, Silumina, Daily News, Thinakaran, Varamanjari, and Valampuri newspapers.

The Board requests the public to report any suspected fake lottery draws or social media scams to the NLB via the hotline 0114 60 70 00, emphasizing that it is a national responsibility to help curb such fraudulent activities.
