Showers or thundershowers will occur in the other areas after 1.00 p.m.
Heavy falls above 100 mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, Southern and North-western provinces.
Showers may occur in Eastern province in the morning too.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the sea areas around the island.
Winds:
Winds will be westerly or variable in direction and speed will be (25-35) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to 45 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Galle to Hambantota via Matara.
State of Sea:
The sea areas off the coast extending from Galle to Hambantota via Matara will be moderate at times. The other sea areas around the island will be slight.
Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
