The 2025 Presidential Environmental Awards Ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Organized by the Ministry of Environment, headed by Minister Dr. Dammika Patabendige, in collaboration with the Central Environmental Authority (CEA), the event will recognize industries, businesses, and organizations that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to environmental conservation through innovative and sustainable management practices.
The prestigious awards aim to promote a culture of environmentally responsible industries and services across Sri Lanka, inspiring greater public and private sector participation in the nation’s sustainable development journey.
Through this annual initiative, the government seeks to strengthen awareness and collective responsibility toward protecting Sri Lanka’s natural environment for future generations.
