The Irrigation Department announced that six spill gates of the Rajangana Tank have been opened by six feet, releasing a total discharge of 8,352 cubic feet per second.
Meanwhile, two spill gates of the Angamuwa Tank have been opened by five feet, with a total discharge of 2,994 cusecs, Director of Irrigation (Water Management) Eng. H.M.P.S.D. Herath said.
