Sri Lanka to face South Africa in Women’s World Cup 2025 clash today

The Sri Lanka Women’s cricket team will take on South Africa Women in their fifth match of the 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup today (17) at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The 2025 Women’s World Cup is being co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, and today’s encounter marks the 18th match of the tournament.

According to the points table, South Africa currently holds the 3rd position, while Sri Lanka sits in 7th place. Out of the four matches Sri Lanka has played so far, two were abandoned due to rain. Meanwhile, South Africa has won three of their four matches.

Today’s match at the R. Premadasa Stadium is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. local time.
