CMC declares emergency disaster response from October 16–18

The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) has announced an emergency disaster response period from October 16 to 18, 2025.

According to the CMC website, “In response to the emergency disaster situation declared from October 16 to 18, the Colombo Municipal Council is fully prepared and on standby to assist you.”

The Council has provided two contact numbers for the public: 011-2422222 for inquiries and 011-2686087 as an emergency hotline.
