In a special statement, the UNP announced that the committee includes Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene, General Secretary Talatha Athukorala, and President’s Counsel Roland Perera.
The party stated that the move is part of its broader effort to protect Sri Lanka’s multi-party democratic system and to bring all political parties together on a common platform.
