Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya is scheduled to commence an official visit to India today (16).
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit will take place from October 16 to 18.
During her visit, the Prime Minister is expected to hold a series of discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other high-level representatives.
The visit also coincides with the World Summit organized in India by NDTV and the Chintan Research Foundation.
