The Prime Minister laid wreaths, honouring the memory of the late Chairman Mao Zedong, the founding leader of the People’s Republic of China.

The visit formed part of the Prime Minister’s official engagements in Beijing, reflecting Sri Lanka’s respect for China’s historic legacy and the longstanding friendship between the two nations.
