The Sri Lanka women’s cricket team will face New Zealand today (14) in the 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup match at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, starting at 3 p.m.

This will be Sri Lanka’s third match of the tournament, as they are yet to record a win having lost to India and England, while their match against Australia was washed out. The result of today’s game will be crucial for Sri Lanka to keep their semifinal hopes alive.

New Zealand, meanwhile, have won one out of their four matches so far and currently sit fifth in the points table with two points, while Sri Lanka are in seventh place with one point.

In another World Cup match, South Africa defeated Bangladesh by three wickets in Visakhapatnam. Batting first, Bangladesh scored 232 for six, while South Africa chased down the 233-run target in 49.3 overs, losing seven wickets.
