The visit, made at the invitation of the People’s Republic of China, will take place from today until the 15th.
Dr. Amarasooriya is scheduled to address the summit, which is being held under the theme “One Future: A New and Accelerated Development for Women”, jointly organized by the Chinese Government and UN Women.
During her visit, the Prime Minister will also hold bilateral discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council.
