According to police, two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle had opened fire before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Investigations have revealed that a 9mm firearm is suspected to have been used in the shooting. Police recovered two spent bullet casings and two live rounds from the location.
The Kalutara Divisional Crime Investigation Unit and Kalutara South Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
