Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Eastern, Uva, Central, provinces and in Polonnaruwa and Hambantota districts after 1.00 p.m.
Fairly heavy falls above 50 mm are likely at some places in Uva province.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in other areas of the island after 1.00 p.m.
Showers may occur in Western and Southern provinces in the morning.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces during the morning.

Condition of Rain:
Showers or thundershowers will occur in the sea areas off the coast extending from Colombo to Pottuvil via Galle and Hambantota. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the other sea areas around the island during the evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will be south-westerly or variable and wind speed will be (25-35) kmph.
Wind speed can increase up to 45 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
State of Sea:
The sea areas off the coast extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota will be moderate at times. The other sea areas around the island will be slight.
Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
