The Sri Lanka Army has announced the promotion of 7,979 Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) in celebration of its 76th anniversary.
Army Spokesperson Brigadier Waruna Gamage stated that the promotions cover ranks from Lance Corporal up to Warrant Officer.
