From 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., time has been allocated for matters listed under Standing Order 22 (1–6).

From 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., oral questions will be taken up, followed by questions under Standing Order 27(2) from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Subsequently, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the House will debate eight Private Members’ Motions, as follows:

1. Hesha Withanage – Continuation of construction work on the Ruwanpura Expressway.

2. Chaminda Wijesiri – Establishing an appropriate mechanism to strengthen the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB).

3. Ravi Karunanayake – Prohibiting the naming of political parties based on ethnicity or religion.

4. Lal Premanath – Taking measures to address public dissatisfaction regarding local government institutions.

5. T.K. Jayasundara – Declaring the Pitigala, Udugama, Neluwa, and Deniyaya areas as a tourism zone.

6. Ruwan Mapalagama – Introducing law and ethics into the school curriculum.

7. Dr. Kavinda Heshan Jayawardhana – Developing a program to ensure the proper functioning of the National Medicines Quality Assurance Laboratory.

8. Rohana Bandara – Introducing an insurance scheme for farmers.

Finally, from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the government side is scheduled to move and debate the motion to adjourn the House.
