President media director General Prasanna Perera delivered a special lecture on media ethics. Government News Director General Harsha Bandara presented the facts regarding the role of government news department and media profession.
Anuradhapura District Secretary Mr. Ranjith Wimalasuriya, commented on the program, Anuradhapura journalists are playing a very valuable role in making the people know about the development of the government.
The discussion was given the opportunity for journalists to submit their issues and ideas, where the demand of more, expecting the guidance needed to improve their professionalism. The journalist said that he is in high hopes about the plan to establish a media institution planned to implement by the government.
